Case Management / Youth Counseling

Children receive five to ten hours per week of direct contact with a professional Case Manager.  The number of hours per week varies depending on the circumstances of each client's life.  Since most RYF cases are open an average of more than a year, long term relationships are formed between clients and their counselors.  These intensive relationships are what makes RYF services so unique.  Each youth has a counselor who cares.  The agency serves abused and neglected children up to the age of 21.

Group Home / Transitional Living (TLP) Residency (Located 931 North Rutledge, Springfield)

The Group Home provides residential services for young men between the ages of 16 and 21 who are preparing for independent living.  Each client also receives five to fifteen hours per week of Case Management Services.

Transition to Independent Living (T.I.L.)

This program provides monthly subsidies to clients for rent, food and utilities while the client either works full time or attends school.  While in the T.I.L. program clients receive up to 7 hours per week of Case Management Services which focus heavily on teaching clients to shop, budget, and prioritize among other independent living skills.

Foster Care (Traditional, Specialized, and Home of Relative)

The RYF Foster Care Program provides a home-like environment to young men and women, ages 0 to 18.  Clients remain in foster care an average of two years.   While in the Foster Care program all children receive intensive Case Management Services.

Psychological Support Services

Numerous Youth are served with psychological support services.  This includes emergency evaluations with PH.D and M.D. providers, ongoing counseling and therapy with our staff therapist, and timely interventions with community based collateral.
